Although I wasn’t a regular to this cafe before I welcomed Severus home, it has quickly become a favourite with the whole family due to its range of comfortable seating, range of drinks and cakes and its value for money.
The coffee shop is located in a central location in Trowbridge, handy to the taxi rank and the bus stop. There is some outdoor seating, however this looks directly on to the pedestrianised Fore Street without any divide so, is perhaps not as pleasant as some outdoor seating areas. The cafe itself however is tastefully decorated and spacious with a variety of seating types available. There is a sign suggesting that there is a dog friendly seating area but I have seen dogs sat outside this space on a number of occasions without issue so I don’t think they’re too worried if your dog is well behaved. There are usually dog biscuts available near the counter and a communal dog bowl available however, I have on a couple of occasions, asked them for a small paper cup of water to take to our table for Severus to drink from when I have forgotten his usual bowl for water.

In terms of the food and drink offerings and pricing, I find this to be fairly standard compared to most coffee shops although I found the range of cakes to be slightly better value than some of those offered by a larger chain. As I am more of a standard coffee/tea drinker, I can’t say what their more specialist drinks were like but on the last occasion that I had tea, this was proper leaf tea, served in a pot and there are two strengths of coffee offered.

There is a loyalty app which gives you a free drink for every 10 that you buy but you’ll get a free one for signing up plus other perks such as discounts or extra stamps on certain products.
