The Lamb and Lion is a pub in the centre of Bath owned by the X Brewery and my mum and I visited with Severus on a Monday lunchtime. Uopn entering the pub, I could not see any signage to say whether the establishment was dog friendly or not so I carried Severus in before asking at the bar if dogs were welcomed. I wasn’t given a particularly friendly reply when I was told that dogs were only allowed in the beer garden at the back but once finding a set in the beer garden, I did see some signage about dogs which was pretty standard stuff such as dogs must be on a lead and must not be on the furniture etc. As I could not see any dog bowls available, I would probably say that it is more a case of ‘Dogs Tolerated” rather than being what I’d call Dog Friendly. Thankfully I had some water and something to keep Severus occupied whilst we ate our meals.

The beer garden was located at the back of the building but was not particuarly large or with a great view but the pub had laid it out nicely with more comfortable booth-style seating available underneath a shelter as well as standard tables with umbrellas.

The meals themselves were good value for money and piping hot when they were brought to us by a friendly member of the team, who checked back with us a few minutes later to make sure that everything was satisfactory with our meals.
