I have been aware of this shop for some time, having initially visited when looking for ideas for my friend’s dogs and then following that, I would visit to find good quality wet food in small quantities that I could use to supplement the diet of a rather fussy baby hamster. On every occasion, I recieved a warm welcome from the staff and now Severus has joined the family, we have become regular visitors.
There is a fantastic range of own label products such as food and treats and their own label dog clothing is made in Bradford On Avon by their talented team of seamstresses. The Dachshund raincoats and fleeces are the perfect fit for Severus and he proudly models his when on his walks.
The store features a grooming salon, which we haven’t yet experienced and a cafe which serves coffee, cold drinks and cakes to take away or you can sit in the ‘outdoor’ seating area which is located in the arches of the building. The seating area is tastefully decorated and has patio heaters to keep you warm. There is a dog friendly menu and Severus has been known to enjoy the odd puppacino (which are made from warm goats milks and a sprinkling of beetroot powder) from time to time.
The prices are reasonable with a cappucino costing about £3 and alternative milks and vegan cakes are available.
